it worked- but now a nasty cold started coming on yesterday and my nose
is already getting raw and my lips feeling chapped again!
plus...pyf threw out his back (again) yesterday playing basketball...
just picture the 2 of us right now-
it makes me laugh just thinking about it!
(pyf hobbling around to try to help me out and me trying to clear out
atleast 1 nostril so i can breathe and help him out..)
we're a sad lookin couple to say the least!

been for 2 meals there and it made a ton!)

cory chisel ("and the wandering sons") came and played at velour last weekend. nate ran the sound board and i sat up in my 'prime-time' seat next to him.
they're amazing! i think pyf and i could seriously sit and watch/listen to them all night.
not only are they extremely talented but they're the nicest people, too!
pyf was lucky enough to tour for a bit with them when he was playing w/ joshua james.
after a year...he was extremely excited to reunite!
note: let video load all the way before you even try to watch so you can fully enjoy it!
this video doesn't even do 'em justice!

First item of business:
..don't look too closely, my legs are
kinda hairy! and..keep in mind that
this is like 5 days after i was attacked!
Second:
Last week, Nate recorded at the Timpanogos
Storytelling Festival. He was responsible
for getting recordings of all of the storytellers/
audiences so CDs of the festival performances can
be made. He's so talented when it comes to that
kind of stuff. Although we were part of some
interesting crowds for a few days (quite the bunch
of people that go to those kinds of things!), it
was a lot of fun!
p.s.- Two of the storytellers were hilarious!-
Donald Davis and Bil Lepp.
We laughed so hard we were crying!
I love that feeling.
p.p.s- (this was part of the recording set-up)
Shout out to ma' sista, McKenzie- aka...

clarification
this was not ok.
you see, he's gone by this shortened name for a lonnng time. he claimed that it's always been pyf w/ no "e" and that people would think it was "pie-fee" and "wife-ee"- which, i agree, does sound kinda lame. but my thought was that people would think it was "piff" and "wiff" if we left out the "e's"- which sounds even more lame!
(is too much thought going into this on our end?)
anyways...
i decided that he was right.
the "e's" have now been eliminated..
and life is good.
(he's going to be so excited!)
p.s.- please feel free to leave any comments to tell us how YOU
think "pyfe" and "wyfe" are pronounced so one of us can be
deemed the 'winner' of this ridiculous debate.
(actually.. maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea! :)
